Lake Forest represents a powerful ministry opportunity. This community is strategically encircled by the 5 & 241 and is comprised heavily of young professionals, veterans, & families. With a population of 85,965, half claim no relationship with Jesus. And you’re invited to be a part of launching a new congregation to bring the gospel to this community.

Meet our Lead Pastor
Stephen Paulsen is the Lead Pastor of Mariners Lake Forest. He is an experienced pastor and military veteran who is a shepherd at heart. Stephen is an Orange County native who enjoys the ocean, restaurants, and playing hockey. He has attend both Hope International University and Moody Theological Seminary. Stephen is married to his wife Julia and loves spending time with his four wonderful kids: Grayson, Asher, Kerrick, and River. Together, they reside in the beautiful city of Lake Forest.
